5 Tips for a Fun, Safe and Healthy Summer

For many adults, maintaining a work-life balance while the children are out of school can be difficult. Carve out some personal time while the kids are at activities or invest in a babysitter and take a night off to minimize summer stress levels. 

2. Stay safe in the sun: Relaxing in the sun can be the perfect way to unwind from a busy day, but please take care to protect your skin from the sun. Sun exposure can lead to sunburn, peeling skin, and discomfort. It can also increase your risk of melanoma. Use sunscreen of SPF 50 to protect your skin; reapply throughout the day as needed. 

3. Exercise: Exercise keeps your mind and body healthy. It releases endorphins that make you feel good. Exercising regularly can help you reach your personal fitness goals. Incorporate outdoor exercise in the summer to look and feel your best. If you are increasing your physical activity after a period of rest, it is important that you take it easy to prevent injuries.
